Siberico Oil - a questionable company illegally using PetroNeft maps and data

It has come to the attention of PetroNeft that individuals in the UK have received unsolicited calls seeking an investment in Siberico Oil a company claiming to have operations in the Tomsk Oblast. However the documentation on the Siberico website includes maps and other data that have been directly copied from Petroneft's Annual Reports and website. They have also used the biographies of the PetroNeft Board of Directors and ascribed them to other named individuals who are supposed to be the Board of Siberico.

It is PetroNeft's view that the Siberico website and documentation may have been prepared for the purpose of attempting to defraud investors. PetroNeft has reported this matter to the Irish Financial Regulator, the London Stock Exchange, the UK Financial Services Authority and the City of London Police.
