Results to date are as follows;
-
Lineynoye No. 6 appraisal well intersected 13.2 metres of net oil pay and has been successfully tested at an unstimulated stabilised flow of 100 bopd. The The well is was equipped with an ESP and placed on long term production test over the winter months and produced at a stablised flow of 245 bopd. This test has now been completed. More details under Lineynoye and West Lineynoye Oil Field.
Tungolskoye No. 4 appraisal well intersected 15 metres of net oil pay and initially flowed at 40 bopd. Based on the test results to date the reservoir appears tight/damaged at this particular well location and will need fracture stimulation for proper assessment. The Company has decided to suspend the testing of this well for the time being, as, under the current Plan of Development the Tungolskoye Oil Field will not be brought into production until 2012. This will allow the testing to be completed in a cost effective manner when the Company has its own work-over rig and frac crew in the field.
-
Lineynoye No. 7 exploration well confirmed 1.5 metres of net oil pay within a 22 meter oil column. The well was equipped with an ESP and put on long term test and produced at a stabilised rate of 85 bopd. It was not possible to optimise the test due to generator problems. Once the pump is optimised the Company is confident the well will produce at a higher rate. More details under Lineynoye and West Lineynoye Oil Field.
