Board Appointment

PetroNeft Resources plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Paul Dowling, Chief Financial Officer, as an executive director of the Company.

Mr. Dowling joined the Company in October 2007 as Chief Financial Officer. He is a Chartered Certified Accountant and a member of the Irish Taxation Institute.

There are no further matters in connection with the appointment of Mr Dowling to be disclosed pursuant to Schedule Two, paragraph (g), of the AIM and IEX Rules for Companies.

In addition, the Company also announces the appointment of Ernst & Young (Ireland), as the Company's auditors.
